- General:
- New, more modern, even more intuitive graphical interface compatible with high resolution monitors.
- Support for multiple monitors with different font size (scale) settings.
- Faster opening and saving of images.
- Reduced program memory requirements – more and larger images can be handled.
- New feature Rotate image by arbitrary angle.
- New Clone stamp feature for retouching images.
- New feature Insert information about magnification into the image.
- New Calibrate image feature to easily calibrate an image from another program that contains a scale bar.
- Consolidation of brightness/contrast/gamma and color balance adjustment dialogs into one Adjust color dialog.
- Split controls for changing the color and line thickness of objects in the toolbar.
- Minimum supported monitor resolution increased to 1366 x 768 pixels.
- For each opened image, the program remembers its zoom and position in the Display window.
- If the image has a calibration assigned, an indicator appears in the Thumbnail browser.

- Measurements:
- Redesigned graphical interface and extension of Phase analysis functionality:
- the option of user naming of individual phases has been added,
- Phase transparency slider added,
- improved Preview functionality.
- Added context menu for measuring objects editing:
- new Customize labels of measurands feature allows user renaming of the measurands in the image,
- new Adjust line segment length feature. (Allows to set the desired length of the measuring line segment by typing a value.),
- change the font color of measured values,
- change the object color,
- change the object line thickness,
- delete the object.
- Added the option of panning the zoomed image when the middle mouse button (wheel) is pressed, even during the measurement.
- Added the option to change the thickness and color of the lines of the measuring object also during the measurement.
- The feature Display labels with measured values now applies to all open images instead of just the current one.
- Inserting measuring object lines at 45 or 90 degrees while holding down the Shift key is now available for all relevant measuring objects.
- Added support for cm and nm units.
- When measuring with the line segment tool, long end lines are displayed for more accurate start and end point placement.
- Redesigned graphical interface and extension of Phase analysis functionality:
- Table of Measured Values and Export of Results:
- The records in the table of measured values can be re-sorted by columns by clicking on the header of the selected column.
- New Export measured values from multiple images to a single file feature. (Allows to create a summary file of measured values from multiple images, including embedded images.)
- Export measured values to XLSX (Microsoft® Excel®) files instead of the old XLS format.
- Added support for exporting measured values to CSV format for importing into third-party spreadsheets (e.g. LibreOffice, OpenOffice, etc.).
- The graphical interface of the dialog for exporting measured values has been upgraded and simplified.
- Drawings and Annotations:
- New Draw polyline feature.
- New Draw arc feature.
- Added the option to change the thickness and color of lines of drawing objects also during drawing.
- Added context menu for editing drawing objects:
- change the object color,
- change the object line thickness,
- delete the object.
- Saving images:
- The graphical interface of the image saving dialog has been upgraded and simplified.
- Support for saving images in 8-bit TIFF format has been discontinued.
- Creating Reports:
- The creation of templates and reports has been redesigned and simplified.
- Support for DOCX (Microsoft® Word) format for both templates and reports has been added.
- Support for exporting reports to the old DOC format has been discontinued.
- It is no longer necessary to terminate Microsoft® Word program before creating templates and reports.
- The selection of measurands and columns to be exported to a report is no longer performed when creating a template, but user selectable when creating a report.
- Program Options:
- The program options have been largely redesigned and simplified.
- Added the option to set the number of decimal places displayed for angle measurements.
- Removed the default setting to display an overlay rectangular grid. The last setting used is remembered.
- Built-in Time-Lapse Video Module:
- Added support for video creation in resolutions up to 4K UHD (3840 x 2160 px).
- New control panel for PROMICAM PRO digital cameras (build 246-III)

- Fixed an issue where an invalid auto focus mode might have been set in QuickPHOTO program for a camera with an objective attached, resulting in Error 70 being displayed on the camera screen. Applies to: Canon® EOS 800D, 760D, 750D, 200D, 80D, 77D, 7D Mark II and 6D Mark II DSLR cameras.
- Fix to prevent third-party software to interfere with QuickPHOTO files. This could prevent the camera from connecting or cause other problems.
