Focus Motorization for Microscopes

PROMICRA offers motorized stands and additional focus drives suitable automated creating of fully focused images – so called “Extended Depth of Field (EDF) imaging” or “focus stacking” – using our Deep Focus extension module for QuickPHOTO software. The below listed focus drives and stands are compatible with majority of compound microscopes, stereomicroscopes and macroscopes and can be all controlled by our CB-ZM control unit.

CB-ZM Control Unit


All motorized stands and focus drives listed above can be controlled by our universal CB-ZM control unit.

Features:

  • Manual focus control using UP and DOWN buttons
  • Selection of focus speed – 4 predefined speed levels available
  • Current focus speed signalized by LEDs on the front panel
  • Automatic speed incrementation when holding UP or DOWN button
  • Remote control option by a two-button foot switch (optional)
  • Compact design (control unit and a handswitch in a single unit) saves space on your desktop.
  • Computer control via USB interface – compatibility with Deep Focus (EDF) extension module for QuickPHOTO software, optionally also in combination with HDR module for EDF + HDR imaging
